The Department of Microbiology, SRICT–Institute of Science & Research, UPL University of Sustainable Technology successfully organized an Expert Lecture on “Microbial Pigments: Emerging Natural Colorants for Industrial Applications.” The session was specially organized for B.Sc. Microbiology Semester IV and VI students, with more than 100 students participating online and actively engaging in the lecture. 🎤 The expert talk provided valuable insights into biopigments, covering their industrial applications, research potential, sustainability aspects, and career opportunities. Students gained enhanced understanding of the role of microbial pigments as eco-friendly alternatives to synthetic colorants.
