Master of Science (Chemistry)

  • MScOrganicChemistry

The Department of Chemistry was established in 2018 under SRICT Institute of Science and Research, building on the strong foundation of SRICT – a reputed institute known for its commitment to quality education. The department began with a Postgraduate program in Organic Chemistry (M.Sc.) and has consistently grown in stature. Following a successful journey over the years, SRICT is now part of the UPL University of Sustainable Technology, bringing together both SRICT and SRICT-ISR under a unified academic umbrella.

The Department of Chemistry at SRICT-ISR offers a rigorous M.Sc. Chemistry program with specialization in Organic Chemistry, designed to meet the evolving demands of academic, industrial, and research sectors. The program aims to provide a deeper understanding of advanced chemical principles, synthesis, analytical techniques, and research methodology while fostering critical thinking, innovation, and sustainability.

The objectives of the M.Sc. Chemistry program are to deepen the students’ understanding of core and advanced concepts in chemistry, enhance hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, develop research aptitude and problem-solving abilities, and prepare students for careers in industry, academia, research institutions, and public sectors.

Graduates of the M.Sc. Chemistry program can pursue diverse career opportunities in Research and Development (R&D), Quality Control and Assurance, Process Chemistry, Teaching, Regulatory Affairs, Public Sector Enterprises, and may also opt for doctoral research (Ph.D.) in India or abroad. The program lays strong emphasis on industrial relevance and sustainability.

Program Highlights:
  • Advanced curriculum aligned with national and international academic standards.
  • Hands-on training in modern instrumentation and analytical techniques.
  • Research-based projects and opportunities for publications or presentations.
  • Exposure to industry practices through visits, internships, and expert lectures.
  • Highly qualified faculty with domain expertise in various branches of chemistry.
  • Emphasis on sustainability, green chemistry, and clean technology.

Join our M.Sc. Chemistry program and step into the world of advanced chemical sciences, research innovation, and professional excellence.
