About University

UPL University of Sustainable Technology has been established by inclusion in the Schedule vide Section 3 (8) of Gujarat Private University Act 2009 (amended by Gujarat Act No.15 of 2021) which came into force on 1st June 2021, vide Notification No. GH/SH/81/EPU/ 2020/10012020/KH-I dated 2/6/2021 of Government of Gujarat. It is empowered to confer degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act 1956.

UPL University of Sustainable Technology has been established by Ankleshwar Rotary Education Society (ARES) to place Gujarat and India at one of the best education places of the World. The journey of UPL University of Sustainable Technology is started way back in 2011 with the establishment of Shroff S.R.Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology (SRICT) conducting UG (B.E.) courses in engineering in affiliation with GTU and approval of AICTE, New Delhi.

    Campus Entry Guidelines and Code of Conduct

    Humble request to all Parents of the Students of University
    Dear Parents,
    On 18th July 2026, the University had informed all the students studying in the University through a circular and WhatsApp that it is mandatory for students to drive two-wheelers with an RTO valid permit, their license and a helmet, but today some students did not have an RTO valid permit, license and they did not even wear a helmet. Such students have been sent back home from the University.
    You also know that driving a two-wheeler on the State Highway without an RTO valid permit, license and helmet is an offence, so we humbly request you to send your RTO valid permit, two-wheeler, their license and helmet to study in the University for the safety of the students. If they have a license and helmet, they will be able to park their two-wheeler on the University campus and will be able to maintain their safety during transportation.
