1.1) COURSES AND FEE STRUCTURE

Note: # Inclusive of admission, enrollment and exam fees & Course Fee to be paid in two equal installments

1.2 DURATION OF COURSE – 1 Year (Two Semesters)

• 70: End Semester Exam
• 30: Internal Mid Semester Exam will be assessed on the basis of regular assignment/tutorial submission

1.3 ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR ON LINE ADMISSIONS

• Any Graduate in the field of Electrical / Instrumentation/ Electronics / Mechanical Engineers from Industry. (Industry experience is desirable)

1.4 ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR ON LINE ADMISSIONS

• Walk in to Institute or fill up the on line application form from university website.
• Present during the counselling process (admission rounds for confirmation of admissions with fees and relevant documents.

1.6 MODE OF CONDUCT

Online + Offline (Approximately 08 hrs per Week)

1.7 COURSE OUTLINE

• Understanding of PLC Programing principles, Trouble Shooting that enables their application in an industrial environment.
• Practical understanding of the DCS system architecture, system design, module selections, field applications, programming.
• Understanding of Cyber Security awareness, need, system architecture, related policies.
• Understanding of Safety System Diagnostics, Performance parameters, Error Codes.
• Understanding of field instrumentations, P&ID, specifications, measurement and controls.
• Understanding instrumentation, Automation and Robotics and its application in one’s own area of work.
• Robotics and its applications in industries.

1.8 COURSE CONTENT AND CREDITS

• Both the semester (I&II) will be of 14 weeks.
• Theory classes will be conducted on Saturday (Online + Offline Mode) - Total = 8 hrs/week.
• 08 Hrs is equal to 01 Credit for all subjects.
• Passing Criteria will be 40% in all individual components.
