Visit @ Electronic Waste Management Facility at BEIL, Ankleshwar

NSS volunteers of UPL University of Sustainable Technology, Vataria, visited the Electronic Waste Management Facility at BEIL, Ankleshwar, on 09 January 2026 as part of an awareness and experiential learning programme. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to scientific e-waste management practices and to enhance their understanding of environmental sustainability. During the visit, experts from BEIL explained the processes involved in the collection, segregation, recycling, and safe disposal of electronic waste, highlighting the environmental and health impacts of improper e-waste handling. More than 55 NSS volunteers participated in the visit.
