Day 7: NSS Camp
Description
The closing ceremony of the 7-day National Service Scheme (NSS) camp, held in Thava Village, Netrang, from September 17 to 23, 2024, took place on September 23, 2024. NSS students showcased spectacular cultural performances that reflected the spirit of unity, service, and creativity experienced during the camp. The event was attended by Trustee member of the Gram Kelvani Mandal Mr. Yogesh Joshi, , Mr. Manasingh Mangrola, Mr. Rajendrasinh Mangrola, and Mr. Nanalal Vasava, Sarpanch of Thava Village, Mrs. Shushilaben Vasava, along with the principal, teachers and students were present. Also from UPL University Dr. Snehal Lokhandwala, Dean of Science , Registrar Mr. Dharmesh Patel, NSS Coordinator Mr. Satish Verma, and NSS Officer Mrs. Mittal Panchal, along with NCC Administrative Assistant Mrs. Amita Parmar, were present. During the camp, students participated in various community service, developmental activities, and social awareness campaigns, working alongside villagers to improve the community. The presence of these esteemed guests enhanced the dignity of the event and inspired the students to continue their efforts in serving society. The closing ceremony concluded on a positive note, with trustees and university officials appreciating the students' dedication and hard work. They expressed hope for future collaborations aimed at uplifting and empowering rural communities.
