OBJECTIVE
The T&P Cell of SRICT operates with a following objectives:
- Guide and help in imparting quality practical experience through in-plant training
opportunities
- Develop confidence and reduce interview anxiety through pre-placement programs (Mock
interviews)
- Provide employment opportunities through on-campus and off-campus placements by
inviting reputed industries.
- Provide information and training for the competitive examinations
- Inform and guide with pool recruitment drive and research position opportunities
- Guide in higher education and research opportunities and motivate the students for
better career
PROCEDURE
- Training and Placement (T&P) Cell offers career guidance and placement on all aspects
of career planning, job searching and post-graduate studies.
- The placement cell organizes on-campus and off-campus recruitments and pre-placement
training programs.
- The T&P Cell starts inviting prospective industries from November-December month
of every Academic Calendar, along with all relevant information to participate in
the campus recruitment drive.
- The industry, in turn, can also contact the T&P Office round the year for their
requirement.
- The details of the respective final year eligible students opting for placement
will be sent to the industry concerned, as per their requirement, along with a tentative,
mutually convenient date and venue for the campus interviews.
- After confirmation by the industry, T&P cell helps in smooth conduction of an interview
process which may include pre-placement talk, group discussion, online aptitude
as well as technical test, written test, personal interview. If required, telephonic
interviews or interviews through video conferencing can be arranged.
- After the completion of the selection procedure of on-campus/off-campus, company
is required to announce the final list of the students on the same day itself or
within few days either through personal telephonic talk, mail (tandpcell@srict.in)
or sending hard copy of result at campus.
- The students selected through campus interview will complete all the necessary formalities
(e.g. medical test) asked by the employer and will join an industry within stipulated
time frame. He/ she will keep the T&P Cell update regarding his/ her progress in
the Company. T&P Cell, in turn, will obtain regular feedback from the employer regarding
the performance of selected students.
REGISTRATION
- Interested eligible students should register with campus Training & Placement Cell
(T&P Cell) through hardcopy submission (as per Format of T&P Cell)
- T&P Cell notifies all the students with necessary information (registration fees,
date and time) usually in the month of August to November.
- Student should carefully fill up all the information while registering. Any false
information furnished will lead to disciplinary action.
