The Department of Mathematics, Science & Humanities successfully organized a seminar on “Values” on 29th January 2026 for students of DE Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical Engineering from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The session was delivered by Ms. Surbhi Munshi, Lecturer (Adhoc), UPL University of Sustainable Technology. The seminar aimed to create awareness about the role of human values in shaping responsible individuals and ethical professionals in the field of engineering. Core human values such as discipline, honesty, integrity, respect, empathy, responsibility, cooperation, and commitment were explained with clarity. Students were guided to understand how these values influence personal behaviour, academic discipline, teamwork, communication, and professional conduct, particularly in technology-oriented careers. The speaker used real-life situations and interactive discussions to help students relate human values to everyday decision-making and professional challenges. The session encouraged students to reflect on their attitudes, behaviour, and responsibilities as future engineers. The interactive nature of the seminar kept students actively engaged and motivated. It strengthened their understanding of the connection between character building and academic excellence. Overall, the seminar was meaningful and impactful, contributing positively to the holistic development of students and reinforcing the importance of human values.
