Industrial Visit to Acume Chemical Pvt. Ltd., Jhagadia
Description
The Department of Chemical Engineering organised an industrial visit for B.E. 6th Semester students to Acume Chemical Pvt. Ltd., Jhagadia, on 29th January 2026. During the visit, students gained valuable technical insights into industrial safety practices, process operations, warehouse systems, Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE), and ETP plant operations, with a special focus on the production of bromine derivatives. The visit played a significant role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industrial exposure, thereby strengthening students’ understanding of real-world chemical engineering applications. It also contributed to achieving Program Outcomes and supported the vision of quality education, sustainable industrial practices, and environmental responsibility.
