The Department of Mathematics, Science & Humanities successfully conducted a value seminar titled “Values” on 30th January 2026 for students of DE Chemical Engineering (Group 2 & 3) from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The session was delivered by Ms. Surbhi Munshi, Lecturer (Adhoc), UPL University of Sustainable Technology, who addressed the growing need for integrating ethical thinking and moral responsibility within engineering education. The seminar focused on shaping students into not only skilled professionals but also responsible and value-driven individuals. Key human values such as discipline, honesty, integrity, empathy, respect, accountability, teamwork, and commitment were discussed in a practical and relatable manner. Students were guided to understand how these values play a vital role in academic life, interpersonal relationships, leadership, teamwork, professional ethics, and decision-making in modern technological careers. Through real-life examples, case-based discussions, and interactive dialogue, the speaker helped students connect human values with real-world challenges faced in both personal and professional environments. The session inspired students to introspect on their behavior, attitudes, and responsibilities as future engineers and contributors to society. The engaging and interactive format of the seminar ensured active participation from students, making the session both meaningful and motivating.
