A workshop on “AI-Driven Active Learning Tools in Higher Education"

The AI Innovation Hub of the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a workshop on “AI-Driven Active Learning Tools in Higher Education” on 10th March, 2026 for the students of UPL University. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the practical use of Artificial Intelligence and introduce them to various AI tools used in modern education. The session was conducted by Ms. Rupali Attarde (Assistant Professor – CO & IT) along with her student team, who explained different AI tools and demonstrated their applications. Students also participated in hands-on activities to understand how AI tools can support learning, research, and academic tasks. The workshop received an enthusiastic response, and students appreciated the opportunity to explore innovative AI technologies in a practical way.
