Empowering Industry Leaders: Training Program on Industrial Steam Generation
Description
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at UPL University of Sustainable Technology successfully organized a high-impact, one-day training program on "Industrial Steam Generation: Hazards, Risk Assessment and Advanced Control Strategies" (ISG:HRA&ACS) on March 11, 2026. Conducted in hybrid mode, the program bridged the gap between academic expertise and industrial application, attracting 17 professional participants from various industries (14 offline and 3 online). The day was packed with five intensive technical sessions led by eminent speakers, covering: ποΈ The Boiler: Fundamental concepts. π§ Operation & Maintenance: Solving core industrial problems. π‘οΈ Safety & Case Studies: Critical considerations for coal-fired boilers. β οΈ Hazards & Control: Advanced strategies for steam generation. π Statutory Compliance: Navigating legal and safety regulations. A special thank you to our sponsor, NV Conveyor Belt Jointer, for their support in making this knowledge-sharing initiative a grand success. We remain committed to fostering excellence and safety in industrial practices!
