Fourth day of NSS Camp, "Free Eye Check-Up Camp at Vataria village
Description
On the fourth day of the NSS Camp, the NSS volunteers of UPL University of Sustainable Technology organised a "Free Eye Check-Up Camp at Vataria village". The program was successfully conducted by Dr Ashish (Ophthalmologist), Mr Chetan Parmar (Extension Executive), Nikita Vasava, Rahul Vasava, and Sister Kajal. The people of Vataria village enthusiastically participated in the camp and benefited from the services provided. More than 150 villagers underwent eye examinations during the camp. Basic vision screening, eye health consultations, and guidance on maintaining proper eye care were provided. Necessary advice regarding spectacles and further medical treatment was also given to the beneficiaries. The camp played a significant role in spreading awareness about eye health and the importance of regular check-ups, especially in rural areas where access to healthcare facilities is limited.
