UPL University of Sustainable Technology proudly organized its prestigious academic awards ceremony, “Abhyutthan–2026,” on 8th April 2026 to recognize and honor the outstanding academic achievements of its students. The ceremony celebrated the excellent performance of Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Master of Engineering and Master of Science students in the Winter–2025 examinations across various branches of Engineering including Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Information Technology also various branches of Science including Chemistry and Micro biology. The morning session was graced by Shri Pankaj Bharwada, president of Rotary Anleshwer club as the Chief Guest. The afternoon session was presided over by Shri R. D. Mane, MD of Hindustan Backlight. The event was also attended (on-line) by Mr. Ashok Panjwani, President of UPL University of Sustainable Technology. The event was also graced by Prof. Shrikant Wagh, Provost of the University and Mr.Dharmesh Patel, Registrar. Also distinguished academic leaders, including Dr. Purvi Nair, Controller of Examiner, Dr. Omprakash Mahadwad, Dean of Engineering, Dr. Snehal Lokhandwala, Dean of Science and Dr. Alok Gautam, Dean of R&D, along with Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, parents, and students, were also present. A total of 465 students were felicitated during the ceremony, receiving certificates along with prize money amounting to ₹1,63,250. Among them, 07 students achieved a perfect 10-SPI in Engineering and 10 students achieved a perfect 10 pointer in Science, while 5 exceptional students were awarded gold medals for their remarkable academic performance. The gold medal recipients are: 1. Electrical Engineering ( M.E Sem 3) Pawar Purushottam Pandharinath 2. Environmental Management (M.E Sem 1) Choksi Miril Maheshkumar 3. Environmental Management (M.E Sem 1) Desai Zeel Anant 4. Environmental Management (M.E Sem 1) Patel Khushboo Umeshbhai 5. Chemistry (M.Sc Sem 3) Kher Mohammad Zuned Zakir On this occasion, the Heads of Departments, dignitaries, and guests congratulated all the achievers for their commendable success. The ceremony stood as a true reflection of dedication, perseverance, and the spirit of academic excellence.
