The UPL University of Sustainable Technology proudly hosted its flagship Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony, “ABHYUTTHAN- 2026” on 29 th  June 2026, celebrating the remarkable scholastic accomplishments of its students and reaffirming the University's commitment to academic excellence. The ceremony recognized meritorious students from Diploma Engineering and Master of Science programs who demonstrated exceptional academic performance in the Summer-2026 examinations. Awardees represented diverse disciplines, including Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Information Technology. The event was honored by the presence of chief guest Mr. Vijay Vasudeva, Senior Vice President, (Operations), Epigral Ltd., Dahej, and guest of honor Mr. Sunil Durge, Unit Head, Raks Pharma Ltd., Dahej, whose inspiring addresses motivated students to pursue excellence and innovation. The ceremony was conducted under the esteemed leadership of Mr. Ashok Panjwani, President, UPL University of Sustainable Technology, Ankleshwar. The gathering also witnessed the presence of the University's academic leadership, including Prof. Shrikant Wagh, Provost of the University, Dr. Snehal Lokhandwala, Dean, Student Affairs; Dr. Omprakash Mahadwad, Dean, Academic Affairs, Dr. Alok Gautam, Dean, R&D and International Collaboration, Dr. Purvi Naik, Controller of Examinations and Mr. Dharmesh Patel, Registrar of the university along with Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, parents, and students. A total of 392 students were felicitated with certificates and cash awards amounting to ₹1,72,167 in recognition of their academic distinction. Notably, 18 students secured a perfect 10.00 SPI, exemplifying the highest standards of academic achievement, while 03 outstanding students were conferred Gold Medals for their exemplary and consistent performance. Abhyutthan- 2026 thus stood as a proud celebration of dedication, perseverance, and scholastic brilliance, inspiring students to continue striving for excellence. The gold medal recipients are:   1.      Sakshi Durgaprasad Singh (Master of Science- Chemistry, 4 th  Semester) 2.      Jeeson Saji Varghese (Diploma- Chemical Engineering, 4 th  Semester) 3.      Jha Komal Manoranjan (Diploma- Chemical Engineering, 6 th  Semester)   On this occasion, the Heads of Departments, dignitaries, and guests congratulated all the achievers for their commendable success. The ceremony stood as a true reflection of dedication, perseverance, and the spirit of academic excellence.
