Inauguration- Advanced Guided Learning Experience Program on Emerging Technologies
Description
The Department of Computer Engineering, UPL University of Sustainable Technology, organized the first day of the Three-Day Advanced Guided Learning Experience Program on “Emerging Technologies” on August 11, 2026, with around 90 final-year students from all branches of the B.E. program participating. The program began with a brief interaction by Dr. Shrikant J. Wagh, Provost, followed by Saraswati Puja and Vandana. The expert session was then conducted by Mr. Pawan Singh, Senior AI/ML Engineer, who delivered an insightful session on AI & ML, IBM SkillsBuild, IBM Cloud, IBM Granite Models, LLMs, and related emerging technologies. The session provided students with valuable industry-oriented knowledge and practical exposure to modern AI technologies. As part of the program, students also completed certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Prompt Engineering. The program was coordinated by Mr. Awadh Kishor Singh and Ms. Aanal Patel, with Dr. Ashutosh Abhangi served as the Spokesperson, under the guidance of Ms. Mital Patel, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, UPL University of Sustainable Technology.
