Day 5 of NSS camp| 9th September 2026
Description
The 5th day of the NSS Camp was organized with the objective of creating awareness among the local community about Tuberculosis (TB) and promoting financial literacy. An awareness session on Tuberculosis (TB) was conducted by the NSS volunteers, PHC Kondh staff members and local residents. The session covered the causes, symptoms, modes of transmission, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Tuberculosis, encouraging participants to stay informed and take timely action. A session on Financial Literacy was also organized to improve awareness about personal financial management. The participants were made aware of the importance of maintaining a bank account, using secure digital payment methods, protecting UPI PINs, OTPs, and passwords, and avoiding financial fraud and scams. Through such awareness initiatives, the NSS unit continues to empower communities with knowledge, health awareness, and practical life skills.
