The Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, UPL University of Sustainable Technology, in collaboration with the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), Bharuch Chapter, IQAC, and IIC, successfully organized an online workshop on “AI Essentials for Working Professionals” on 19th September 2026. The workshop received an excellent response, with more than 50 participants joining the session online. The program commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Keyur Desai, Director – Industry Connect and Consultancy Projects and Professor of Practice. The session was conducted by Mr. Nikunj Bhavsar, Assistant Professor, UPL University, who shared valuable knowledge and practical insights into the applications of Artificial Intelligence in the professional world. During the workshop, participants learned about the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, how AI works, different prompting techniques, creating GPTs, and the effective use of customized AI tools in professional activities. The session was highly interactive, with participants actively engaging with the speaker, raising queries, and appreciating the practical and informative approach of the workshop. The workshop was coordinated by Ms. Rupali Attarde, Assistant Prof. CO & IT under the guidance of Ms. Mital Patel, HOD, CO & IT.
