Awareness of First-Aid Treatment

On September 29, 2026, UPL University of Sustainable Technology organized a training session for NSS volunteers on “Awareness of First-Aid Treatment.” The session was delivered by Dr. Achintaya Desai, Medical Officer, PHC Kond, who provided valuable guidance on basic first-aid procedures and appropriate responses during medical emergencies.Mr. Bhavin Modi and Ms. Deepika Ben from the Paramedical Team, PHC Kond, were also present during the session and supported the training activities. The session was highly interactive and informative. NSS volunteers actively participated in the discussion and asked several questions related to handling medical emergencies, basic first-aid procedures, and appropriate immediate responses in critical situations. More than 115 NSS volunteers participated in the program and benefited from the practical knowledge and awareness provided during the session. The program aimed to equip NSS volunteers with essential first-aid knowledge so that they can respond appropriately and confidently during emergencies.
