Industrial Visit

An Industrial Visit was conducted for the Diploma 4th Semester Information technology students to Exotic Infotech, Bharuch on 19th March 2026.

to enhance their understanding of the IT industry. The purpose of the visit was to expose students to real-world applications of computer engineering concepts and to familiarize them with the professional work environment. During the session, the company experts shared insights into modern web and software development practices and demonstrated how different technologies are used to build real-time applications. Students were introduced to the basic structure of web applications, the role of frontend and backend technologies, and the importance of databases in software systems. The experts also shared guidance on developing industry-relevant projects and highlighted the importance of innovation, practical knowledge, and continuous skill development for building a successful career in the technology field. The visit proved to be an enriching experience that helped students connect their academic learning with industry practices.

Expert Lecture

The Computer Department organized an expert lecture on โ€œCloud Computing in AI Worldโ€ on 18/03/2026 (Wednesday), delivered by Mr. Abdul Hamid Shaikh from Yashword Product Pvt. Ltd., Surat.

The lecture was conducted in two sessions and was attended by Dipploma sem 4 and 6 Students. During the lecture, the expert explained how cloud platforms enable scalable AI solutions, data storage, and processing capabilities. He also discussed real-world applications, benefits, and the future scope of cloud computing in the field of artificial intelligence. The session was highly informative and interactive, helping students understand current industry trends and enhance their technical knowledge. Students actively participated and clarified their doubts during the session. Overall, the expert lecture was successful in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices.

DDCET MOCKTEST

The DDCET Practice Test was conducted on 9 March 2026 for the students of Diploma 6th Semester Computer Engineering and Information Technology Students.

The purpose of the test was to help students prepare for the DDCET examination and understand the exam pattern. Students participated actively and attempted questions related to important subjects of the DDCET syllabus. The test helped students evaluate their preparation and improve time management during exams. Faculty members also guided students based on their performance for better preparation in the final examination.

One-To-One Meeting Of BECO Sem 6

A One-to-One meeting for BECO Semester 6 was conducted on 10/03/2026 in the presence of Dr. OmPrakash Mahadwad (Dean & COE, UPL University), Ms. Mital Patel (HoD)

and Class Coordinator Ms. Madhuri Marsonia and Ms. Jagruti Sarkhedi. During the meeting, Dr. OmPrakash Mahadwad advised the students to maintain proper academic discipline and plan their studies effectively by dedicating 4โ€“5 hours daily for focused learning. He encouraged them to put in consistent efforts to achieve good academic results, maintain zero backlogs, and improve their attendance. He also emphasized the importance of utilizing the academic support systems and facilities provided by the university for better learning outcomes. Furthermore, students were motivated to actively participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including sports and cultural events, to support their overall personality development and holistic growth.

Training Program Awareness of Cyber Security

Mr. Sajid Saiyed, Managing Director of Cybersecurity Umbrella Corp Ltd., Surat, conducted a hands-on training session on

"๐—”๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—–๐˜†๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜†" for the faculty members on 07.03.2026. During the session, Mr. Sajid discussed important cybersecurity topics such as ransomware attacks and demonstrated tools including Spider, NMAP, WAZU and SQLMap etc. His team members, Mr. Nilesh Tank (VAPT Lead) and Mr. Tanuj Modi (Project Manager), also shared their expertise by covering subjects such as Global Threat Trajectory 25, Enumeration, SQL Injection, Reverse Shell Generator, CERT reports, and various types of phishing attacks. The faculty members greatly appreciated the session for its informative and practical approach. We sincerely thank the management for their encouragement and for organizing such a valuable training program for the staff.

Website Creation & Design workshop

"TechnoSpark UUST" Club of the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology successfully conducted a โ€œWebsite Creation and Design Workshopโ€ for B.E. Computer Eng Sem. 4 students.

Mr. Awadh along with his student team explained the basic concepts of website development and demonstrated how a website is designed and how it works in real-time. The session helped students gain practical knowledge and sparked their interest in web development. Students actively participated and learned essential skills required for creating modern websites.
