IIChE Activity – “GuruVandan” | Teachers’ Day Celebration
The Department of Chemical Engineering, under the banner of the IIChE Student Chapter, celebrated Teachers’ Day through “GuruVandan”, organized as part of the Peer Learning Initiative (PLI).
As a unique tribute to teachers, students took on the role of teachers and shared their knowledge with their juniors through interactive teaching and discussions. A total of 26 students enthusiastically participated in the activity. The initiative helped students enhance their communication, presentation, leadership, confidence, and subject knowledge, while promoting the spirit of peer learning and strengthening the bond between senior and junior students. 🌺 Happy Teachers’ Day to all! 💐💐

Organized under the banner of the IIChE Student Chapter, Department of Chemical Engineering, UPL University of Sustainable Technology, the celebration was filled with gratitude, joy, and memorable moments, featuring heartfelt reflections, faculty felicitations, cake cutting, and engaging interactive activities. Students expressed their sincere appreciation for the continuous mentorship, encouragement, and support extended by their respected teachers. 🌟 A day of gratitude. A bond beyond the classroom. A heartfelt thank you to all our teachers for inspiring us, guiding us, and helping us grow every step of the way. 💐

Guru Purnima Celebration
The Department of Chemical Engineering, under the banner of the IIChE Student Chapter in association with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a Guru Purnima Celebration.
The celebration began with inspiring addresses by Dr. Krunal J. Suthar, Head of the Department, and Prof. Shrikant J. Wagh, Provost, who emphasized the significance of Guru Purnima and the invaluable role of teachers in shaping students' academic, professional, and personal journeys. As a token of appreciation, the students felicitated all the faculty members with small gifts, expressing their sincere gratitude for their continuous support, encouragement, and mentorship throughout their learning journey. The celebration concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony followed by the distribution of chocolates among the students, creating a memorable atmosphere of respect, gratitude, unity, and togetherness. The event beautifully reflected the timeless bond between teachers and students while reinforcing the values of learning, respect, and lifelong inspiration.

A Moment of Pride for the Department of Chemical Engineering!
We are delighted to share that the IIChE SRICT Student Chapter has been honoured with the Best Student Chapter Award – Ankleshwar Regional Centre for the third consecutive year.
The award was presented on 05/07/2026 during the Annual General Meeting by B. D. Dalwadi, Sandip Parekh, and other esteemed members. The award was proudly received on behalf of the chapter by the Chemical Engineering faculty members of UPL University of Sustainable Technology.
This recognition reflects the chapter's continuous commitment to excellence in technical activities, student engagement, and professional development. Congratulations to all the students, faculty members, and everyone who contributed to this remarkable achievement!
